GamerGrid's user profile is your gateway to the gaming community. Set up your profile by selecting the games you play, and adjusting the ratings for the games you love. This will help you see more relevant content on the app, including Grids and potential matches in the Matchmaking. With a complete user profile, you'll be able to fully engage with GamerGrid's community and connect with other gamers who share your interests.

GAMERGRID

With GamerGrid's search feature, you can easily find all the games available on the platform. Click on any game to get a quick overview, including a trailer, images, and the latest news in the form of Grids. You can also add the game to your user profile or follow it to receive upcoming news in your Grids feed. Stay up-to-date on all your favorite games with GamerGrid.

Chats & Groups

- Chat with your Matches
- Share Grids, Users, Games or Images and Videos
- Form groups to chat with your new Friends to communicate together

Gamerunities

- Form Gamer-Communities to chat with other Gamers that have similiar interest to you
- Everyone can create their own Gamerunity which is then opened to everyone
- Gamerunities can be used to for example inform a multitude of Gamers at the same time, or find more Gamers quicker than usual

Grids

- Grids are user made posts that can obtain one of the following three features:
- Grids containing Images title and optional text
- Grids containing Videos title and optional text
- Grids containing your current six favourite games from your profile a title and an optional text
- Grids containing only a title and optional text
- To each type of Grid the user can also add the respective game and console the Grid is about

Like, Comment & Regrid

- Like Grids or Comments
- Comment on Grids
- Repost Grids on your Profile by regridding them

Matchmaking

- In the Matchmaking section our algorithm suggests you gamers with:
- Equal Games
- Same age
- Same Gender
- High ratings
- Close proximity to you
- You can even gather more Information about the user by clicking the "ⓘ" - Button

More Information

- You can either "Follow", "Link" or "Message" users
- By "Linking" a user you are going to match with the user as soon as they "Link" you back
- By "Following" a user you are going to see their upcoming posted Grids in your Grid "Home"-Section

Profile

- You can customize your profile by uploading your:
- Profile Picture
- Banner Picture
- Your Banner Picture will only be seen in the "More information" page of your profile

Add your Games

- In your Profile you can also add your favourite games
- Based on which games you choose, GamerGrid will form the best experience for you through our many differnet algorithms deciding which content, users or games you might like, all based on the games you added in your profile
- You can add Games by clicking the " + " button on the bottom part of the site above the navigation bar
- You select a game by clicking the respective Console/s you play the game on. Afterwards just press "Done" on the top right and the game will be added to your profile

Search

- In the Search-Section you can find Games or Users
- Each game on GamerGrid is being identified by three different genres
- Each genre gets represented in the Search-Section
- The "Currently Most Played" section shows the games, added in the majority of every user's profile
- The " Only for you" section shows games you might be interested in. Our algorithm bases these suggestions on which games you added in your profile

Game Info

- The Game Info shows a variety of different informations about the respective game
- The Game Info page of every game on the plattform can be opened by simply clicking on the Icon of the Game Cover
- In the Game Info page you can find the trailer, description and Grids of the respective games
- Furthermore you can look into similiar games by clicking the "Similiar Games" tab in the menubar

• Add your own grids with a videoclip, image, titel, text and the respective game which is being shown in your grid
• Tag your friends in your grids
• See who got the most likes in the last 24 hours in our “Top” section.
• Compete with others to get your grid up to the first position
• Find grids related to your favorite games in our “Search” section

MATCHMAKING

• Based on the games you listed in your profile, our algorithms will recommend you a variety of different profiles you might like
• The algorithms also take your age, gender, distance to others and your reviews in consideration
• You can now choose whether to swipe left or right to decide who you want to become friends with
• Once the person you want to befriend, likes you back, both of you achieve a match
• A match enables both of you to chat with each other

• From over hundreds of different games, we provide our users with information about any game they are interested in
• Users can follow their favorite games to receive all of their upcoming grids they are going to post
• You can instantly see which consoles the game is available on by looking at the colorized consoles located underneath the game-name
• By clicking the “Sort By” button either people in our vicinity or friends who play this game will show up
• You can also search for other users

CHATS

• In the chats section users can communicate with one another
• We distinguish between (private) chats, groups and Gamerunities
• Groups consist of multiple people which are all friends of yours. It is not possible for uninvited users to join groups.
• Gamerunities on the other side are public groups made for everyone to freely join or leave them
• The big advantage of gamerunities is the possibility to get in touch with other users that like the same game as you do.
